MUHLENBERG COUNTY, Ky. - Oretha D. Lacefield, 88 of Shephardsville, passed away Saturday, March 8, 2013 at Baptist East Hospital in Louisville. She was born December 14, 1924 in Muhlenberg County, was a medical records administrator and was a member of the Shephardsville Church of Christ.

Survivors include a son, Sam Lacefield of Shephardsville, two grandchildren and three great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM, Monday, March 11, 2013 at Tucker Funeral Home in Central City conducted by Betty Mayes with burial to follow in the Cherry Grove Cemetery in Greenville. Visitation will be after 5:00 PM Sunday and after 8:00 AM on Monday at the funeral home.
