MUHLENBERG COUNTY, Ky. - Carrie Iris Slone Payne, 68, of Beechmont, KY passed away Sunday, March 17, 2013 at 11:05PM at Muhlenberg Community Hospital. Mrs. Payne was born January 16, 1945 in Pike County. She was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Matthew and Nell Slone; sisters Helen Damron and Alice Kumbler; and brother James Slone.

Survivors include her husband, Randall C. Payne; sons Randall C. Payne II of Beechmont and Ryan Neal Payne of Greenville; four grandchildren; sisters Stella Mae of South Carolina, and Irene Wakeland, Samantha Slone, and Dorothy Kiser, all of Pikeville; brothers Charles Slone, Tim Slone, and Matt Slone, all of Pikeville; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be Wednesday, March 20, 2013 at 10:00AM at Tucker Funeral Home in Central City. Burial in Evergreen Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday after 5:00PM at the funeral home. Online condolences may be made at www.tuckerfuneralhomes.com.
