MUHLENBERG COUNTY, Ky. - James Estil Roe, 70, of Bremen, KY passed away Monday, May 6, 2013 at his home. Mr. Roe was born October 4, 1942 in Muhlenberg County. He was a retired coal miner and UMWA member, and he attended Shavers Chapel Church. He was preceded in death by his parents, Sanford and Ruby Roe; and sister, Carolyn Holman.

Survivors include his wife, Janice Morris Roe; daughters Angie Martin of Belton, Stacy (Jamie) Stobaugh of Greenville, and Jamie Markwell (Bradley Miller) of Bremen; brother William Roe of Bremen; sister Agnes Mangrum of Bremen; grandchildren Colton Gunn, Brett Martin, Brylee Stobaugh, and Reed Stobaugh; niece Crystal Holman of Bremen; and nephew Tim White of Bremen.

Funeral services will be Thursday, May 9, 2013 at 11:00AM at Tucker Funeral Home in Central City, with Bro. Steve Latham officiating. Burial in Gish Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday after 5:00PM at the funeral home. Online condolences may be made at www.tuckerfuneralhomes.com.
