This was the first in a series of Pre-Event Raffles for the inaugural Paradise Friends of NRA Banquet to be held at the Central City Convention Center at 5:30 pm on Saturday, September 28.

The winning ticket holder was draw from the 100 tickets sold for a Smith & Wesson .380 Bodyguard pistol. Randy Adams, (AKA BIG COUNTRY) was the winner. This was the first of many Pre-Event raffles that the Paradise Committee is conducting. “This raffle sold out in 3 days!” said Rickey Hoskins, Chairman of the Paradise Committee. “This is a desirable concealed carry pistol. Due to the success of this one, we have obtained another and will be conducting an additional raffle for another Bodyguard.” In addition to the Bodyguard, the committee is raffling a Mossberg 500 Combo with both a turkey and a slug barrel, a Mossberg MVP Predator .223 Bolt Action Rifle, a Smith & Wesson M&P 40 cal pistol, and a yet to be announced Deer Rifle.
