JACKMUHLENBERG COUNTY, KY - Charles Mallory "Jack" Forsythe, 86, passed away Wednesday, July 31, 2013 at Muhlenberg Community Hospital. Jack was born December 25,1926 to Ethel and P.A. Forsythe in Belton, Kentucky, the youngest of 3 children.

Jack served in the U.S. army. He retired as the parts manager from Henry-Cisney Chevrolet in Central City after thirty years. He was active in his community-playing golf, serving the church, and volunteering at the medical clinic and the hospital faithfully for many years. A man who could make anything grow, he loved working in his yard and garden and making hummingbirds welcome every year.

Jack's wife, Ann Martin Forsythe, predeceased him in 2010. He is survived by his daughters, Catherine Harrington and Mary Forsythe, both of Texas; and by his grandchildren Drew (Elizabeth) Ray, Alex Ray and Elizabeth Harrington.

A celebration service will be held at Greenville United Methodist Church on Saturday, August 10, 2013 at 10:30 a.m. All are welcome. The family will greet friends after the service. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Muhlenberg Community Hospital Auxiliary Fund; P.O. Box 387; Greenville, KY 42345. No graveside service will be held.
