funeral-garys 926MUHLENBERG COUNTY, KY - Nora Lynn Jenkins, 56 of Central City, KY died Tuesday morning, September 24, 2013 at 4:19 am in the Owensboro Health Regional Hospital after a sudden illness. She was born June 23, 1957 in Green County, the daughter of David Roscoe Simpson and Mary Sylvia Skaggs Simpson. She was a homemaker and a housewife, and attended the Crossing Holiness Church in Central City.  She was preceded in death by her parents and husband of 36 years, Larry Wayne Jenkins on July 10, 2013.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, September 28, 2013 at 2:00 pm from Union Ridge Baptist Church in Twin Tunnel, KY by Reverend Gary Slaughter.

She is survived by:
Her  son, David (Demetria) Jenkins, Central City, KY
Three brothers, Lee (Diana) Simpson, Belton, KY
Bobby (Katherine) Simpson, Moorman, KY
Larry (Marsha) Simpson, Belton, KY.
 
Friends may call on Saturday, September 28, 2013 after 1:00 pm at Union Ridge Baptist Church Twin Tunnels, KY.
