MUHLENBERG COUNTY, Ky. - Howard A. Mondientz, 73, of Central City, Ky passed away on Thursday, September 26, 2013 at his home. Mr. Mondientz was born September 10, 1940 in Michigan City, Indiana. He was the son of Albert and Agnes Mondientz. On February 14, 1983 he married Mary Payton Ford. He attended New Harmony Baptist Church. He retired from Monco Engineered Sales after 20 years of service before pursuing other interests, and he was an avid fisherman.

Survivors include his wife, Mary Payton Ford Mondientz; son Mark (Laura) Mondientz of South Bend, IN; daughters Cindy (Larry) Streeter of Chicago, IL and Michelle (Gregg) Geissler of South Bend, IN; step-son Jay (Kathy) Ford of Bremen; step-daughter Valisa Myers of Panama City Beach, FL; twelve grandchildren; and eleven great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be Monday, September 30, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at New Harmony Baptist Church in Bremen, with Rev. Dan Yeager officiating. Visitation will be Monday after 10:00 a.m. at the church. Tucker Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to the American Cancer Society. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
