MUHLENBERG COUNTY, KY - Joan Mercer, 90, passed away Saturday, September 28, 2013 from natural causes.  She is preceded in death by her husband, Doil Mercer.  She is also preceded in death by sisters, Lois Gish and Mary Claude Bandy.  She is survived by daughter, Claudia Wells of Greenville, KY; grandson, Norman Wells of Nashville, TN; nephew Butch (June) Bandy of Conroe, TX; great nephews & niece, Mike Bandy of Greenville; Jennifer Clapacs; and John Patrick Clapacs of Central City, KY.  The family would like to thank caregiver, Diane Drake of Central City for all her love and support.  Joan will be profoundly missed by all of us. Rest in peace! We keep you in our hearts! Visitation will be held October 1st, 2013, 1 p.m. funeral service at 2p.m. at Gary’s Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers donation can be made to Humane Society or American Cancer Society.
