MUHLENBERG COUNTY, Ky. - Freeman Brown, 56, of Bremen, Ky passed away Tuesday, November 26, 2013 at 11:29AM at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital. Mr. Brown was born August 23, 1957 in Muhlenberg County. He was a peace officer with the Greenville Police Department and Muhlenberg County Sheriff's Department. He was a member of Bethlehem Baptist Church. He was Master of Bremen Masonic Lodge, and auctioneer and co-owner of Brown Auction Co.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Alice Sue Hall.

Survivors include his wife, Tina Hargrove Brown; daughters Dana Brown of Owensboro and Kristi Brown of Bremen; step-son Dr. T.J. (Jennifer) Milam of Newtonville, IN; grandchildren Levi, Jonathan, and Lydia; parents Jimmy and Martha Brown of Bremen; sisters Kay (Jimmy) Culver of Bremen and Anna Marie Brown of Bremen; and aunt Winnie Fay Greene of Greenville.

Funeral services will be Friday, November 29, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at Tucker Funeral Home in Central City, with Rev. Don Neal officiating, assisted by Rev. Leroy Rearden. Burial in Cedar Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday after 5:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Masonic services will be held Friday at 9:00 a.m.. Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to Gideons International or Cedar Grove Cemetery Fund. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
