MUHLENBERG COUNTY, Ky. - Mary Lee McGhee, 88, of Central City, Ky passed away Wednesday, November 27, 2013 at 3:10AM at Muhlenberg Community Hospital. Mrs. McGhee was born January 3, 1925 in Muhlenberg County. She was a homemaker and member of South Carrollton Missionary Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Pete McGhee; parents Lonnie and Minnie Harper; and brothers Ecklas Harper, Elmer Harper, Gilbert Harper, Wilbert Harper, Willard Harper, Raymond Harper, Leonard Harper, James Harper, and Ray Harper.

Survivors include her son, Jerry (Peggy) McGhee of Central City; daughter Dorothy Tooley of Central City; grandchildren Chanda McGhee (Michael) Oates of Central City and Aimee McGhee (John) Clapacs of Utica; great-grandchildren Thomas (Amber) Oates, Elizabeth Oates, Madilyn Oates, Patrick Clapacs, and Ella Clapacs; great-great-grandchild Zane Thomas Oates; and brother Jimmy Harper of Drydeen, Michigan.

Funeral services will be Saturday, November 30, 2013 at 1:00 PM at Tucker Funeral Home in Central City, with Rev. Mike Neal officiating. Burial in Rose Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday after 5:00 PM at the funeral home. Online condolences may be made at your social media marketing partner
