MUHLENBERG COUNTY, Ky. - Hubert Ray Bowen Jr., 66, of Nelson Creek went to be with the Lord on November 27th, 2013. He was a loving Husband, Father, Grandfather, and Great Grandfather that was born May 10, 1947 in Muhlenberg County. He served his country in the United States Army. He was a member of the Fraternal Order of Masons lodge #673. He worked for Peabody Coal from 1968-1989, and was a retiree from the Ky Department of Corrections at the Green River Correctional Complex.

He was preceded in death by his mother and father, Hubert Ray Bowen Sr. and Lausie Bowen of Nelson Creek.

Survivors include his loving wife Ann Bowen of Nelson Creek; a daughter, Myra Bowen of Nelson Creek; a son, Michael Bowen of Nelson Creek; three grand daughters, Sarah Goad, Toni LeAnn Morris and Cortnie Piper; Seven great grandchildren, Bryceson Bowen, Jackson Bowen, Kamdyn Piper, Kaydynce Piper, Keeli Piper, Kylee Sue Morris, and Brinlee Paige Morris.

Funeral Services will be Saturday, November 30, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. at Tucker Funeral Home in Central City with Donnie Wilkins officiating. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be Saturday, November 30, at 10:00 a.m.. Online Condolences can be made at www.tuckerfuneralhomes.com.
