bee-keeperMUHLENBERG COUNTY, Ky. (4/13/14) — 4-H members and mentors from the Paradise Beekeepers Associations were busy putting together 4-H members' new homes for their bees that will be arriving soon.

4-H members will get bee boxes painted and set up anticipating the arrival of their bees. It is an exciting time for these youth undertaking such a new and different life experience. Thanks to the Felix E. Martin Jr. Foundation, 4-H was able to get 10 new youth involved in beekeeping. The Foundation supplied the kits for the 4-H youth that contained the box, frames and wax sheets, safety helmet with veil, gloves and hive tool.
