nancyBEECHMONT, Ky. (4/14/14) — Nancy June Crews McDonald, 90, of Beechmont, Ky., passed away Friday afternoon April 11, 2014 in the Muhlenberg Community Hospital following a short illness.

She was born April 23, 1923, the daughter of Evan Estil Crews and Nettie Barbara Free Crews. She was a member of the Church of Christ. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and great-great grandmother. Nancy loved fishing and was an avid fisherman. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Elman Earl McDonald in 1968, three brothers, one sister, son Terry McDonald, daughter Peggy McDonald Grissom, son-in-law Danny Grissom, daughter-in-law Marilyn McDonald, son-in-law Ray Newman and close personal friend Lloyd Johnson.

Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday April 16, 2014 2 p.m. from Gary’s Funeral Home in Greenville, Ky by Rev. Roger Heltsley. Burial will be held in Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Greenville, Ky.

She is survived by four children, Bruce McDonald of Greenville, Ky., Barbara Newman of Wadesville, Ind., Roger (Donah) McDonald of Hanson, Ky., and Kevin (Sandra) McDonald of Beechmont, Ky. Thirteen grandchildren, twelve great grandchildren, three great-great grandchildren, one brother, David Crews of Santa Anna, Calif., and many nieces and nephews
