This event will honor veterans who served in World War II and recognize the 70th anniversary of the Allied Invasion at Normandy, France. OMG!Con is an annual event that brings together anime, videogames, tabletop and general fandom for a weekend of fun and excitement. There will be special guests (including voice actors and artists), vendors for finding fandom merchandise, and events including cosplay, videogame tournaments and much more. Calling everyone who enjoys riding a bike OR wants to supports an amazing cause! The first annual Moonlight Ride Friday, June 13, 2014 is a can’t miss event, and participants will have the opportunity to ride around Owensboro while impacting lives all over the country, and families right here in Owensboro. All proceeds go to benefit St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. This new event will bring the best tractors and implements from all over. Come see the “Show ‘n Shine with “Peoples Choice” type judging. There will also be some “Rodeo” type events and a drive through the country. Our Golf Cart Show will feature the same “Peoples Choice” judging, Show ‘n Shine competition with some cruises through the park. Polish up your ride and show us what you got.
