lane restriction2 300DAVIESS COUNTY, Ky. (6/9/14) — A contractor for the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet plans to restrict traffic to one lane along US 60 in Daviess County starting Monday, June 9, 2014.

Motorists should be prepared to encounter lane restrictions along US 60 near the Kentucky 54 Interchange at Owensboro.

Lane restrictions will be up in this area as part of construction for Phase II of the US 60 Extension Project.

Westbound and Eastbound traffic will experience lane restrictions for the next 3 to 4 months to allow the contractor to tie-in the existing US 60 with the new extension.

Motorists should be alert for slowing and merging traffic in this work zone. Some delays are possible during peak travel periods.

The new US 60 Extension is expected to be ready for traffic early next year.
