'Little Green Men' Days Outdoor Gospel Sing to Feature Mark Anthony Brown

kelly-ky-litt-green-men(Photo courtesy kellyky)CHRISTIAN COUNTY, Ky. (7/23/14) — Kelly 'Little Green Men' Day’s festival is pleased to announce the Glennie Lankford Outdoor Gospel Sing musical line-up for Friday night Aug. 15, 2014 featuring Mark Anthony Brown.

Mark is a two time nominee by the United States Association of Gospel Entertainers and Musicians for the "New Artist of the Year" and a “Favorite Male Vocalist” nominee with two number 1 radio charted songs in 2013.

Gates open at 5 p.m., music starts at 6 p.m.


Also the outdoor gospel sing will feature The Glovers. Additional talent will include Bro. Eddie Elliot and 11:59 and Counting, Jessie and Anna Slaton from Jesus Way Gifts, Rusty Cole, Remus Harris and an ‘open mic’ where anyone that would like can sing praises to the Lord from 8 p.m. until?

Bring your own lawn chair, blankets or use one of the folding chairs for an evening of praise and worship under the stars at our outdoor gospel sing. Enjoy the music as you browse the many arts and crafts booths, vendors of all kinds and a mouthwatering selection of food vendors.

The Kelly "Little Green Men" Day’s festival is an annual event held in Kelly Kentucky on Old Madisonville Road at Kelly Church Road on the third weekend of August. This will the 4th year for the festival as it grows in attendance and popularity.

Events for the weekend include a wide variety of craft vendors. Kelly "Little Green Men" Day’s will also have the 2014 Festival T-shirts, a popular item for those collecting the design for each year. Other returning sights include the 38 foot flying saucer, the Kelly Museum boards and the children’s Alien bounce house.

The festival will continue Saturday the 16 from 9 a.m.- 9 p.m. and feature the ever popular kids and adults Alien Costume Contest, the out-of-this-world experience of Crashland, then at 7 p.m. from the stages of the Grand Old Opry and Americas Got Talent, the award winning Country artist Marty Brown will perform Saturday night.
