MUHLENBERG COUNTY, KY - Derek Gene Underwood, 31, of Central City passed away Friday, November 3, 2011 at 11:50 PM in Greenville. Born December 19, 1979 in Henderson, Kentucky he was a painter and was of the Baptist faith.

He is survived by his son, Clayton Allen Underwood of Sacramento; parents, Victor and Lisa Underwood of Central City; two sisters, Angele Rose and Crystal Faye Underwood both of Central City; and a grandparent, Gene Denton.

Funeral services will be held Monday, November 7, 2011 at 11:00 AM at Tucker Funeral Home in Central City with Rev. Danny Greene officiating. Burial will follow in Pine Grove cemetery in South Carrollton. Visitation will be held Sunday after 5:00 PM at the funeral home. Online condolences may be made at www.tuckerfuneralhomes.com
