Pauline Shrewsberry Hampton, 89, of Sacramento

obit18MUHLENBERG COUNTY, KY - Pauline Shrewsberry Hampton, 89, of Sacramento,  passed away Thursday, November 10, 2011 at her home.

Mrs. Hampton was born January 13, 1922 in South Carrollton, KY. She was a homemaker and member of Disciples of Christ Christian Worship Center in Madisonville.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Bender "Pete" Hampton; daughter Lula Hampton; granddaughter Paulette Parm; brother Rufus Shrewsberry; sisters Annie Castlemen, Stella Ramsey, Myrtle Ashby, Lucy Quisenberry, and Alice Parker; and sister-in-laws America L. Helm, Anna Bell Beckner, and Daisy Briggs.

Survivors include her daughters, Myrtle A. Parm and Mary Louise Hampton, both of Sacramento; sons Samuel (Sandra) Hampton Sr. and Richard Hampton, both of Sacramento; grandchildren DeSha Bowles, Sammy Hampton Jr., Tammy Hampton, Kevin Hampton, Charita Hampton, Kim Hampton, Ricky Hampton, Jacob Hampton, Jordan Hampton, Trevino Parm, Jovi Parm and Vanessa Floyd; great-grandchildren Darci Hampton, Jaeden and Kaeleah Hampton, DeAchsa Hampton, Diamond Hampton, and Nautica Hampton; and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be Monday, November 14, 2011 at 11:00AM at Cumberland Presbyterian Church in Sacramento, with Bishop Robert M. Garrard officiating, assisted by Rev. John Butler. Burial in Methodist Cemetery in Sacramento. Visitation will be Monday after 9:00AM at the church. Tucker Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
