MUHLENBERG, KY - Ruby W. Smith, 88 of Greenville, KY. died Thursday, November 17, 2011 at 12:10 p.m.in the Maple Manor Nursing Home Greenville, KY.  She was born in Greenville on October 29, 1923 the daughter of Taylor Harold Wells and Rosie Ann Jamison Wells. She was a housewife and homemaker and was preceded in death by her husband, Presley Smith, her parents, and 6 siblings.

Funeral services will be conducted Monday afternoon November 21, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. from Gary’s Funeral Home Greenville, Ky. by Dr. Ray England and Mr. Glen Smith with burial to follow in Carter Creek Cemetery Greenville, Ky.

She is survived by 2 daughters, Paulette Rose of Greenville and Janice Smith (Glen) of Georgetown. SC, 4 grandchildren, Terry Rose of Nashville, Dennis Rose (Gloria) of Hopkinsville, T. Brentley Smith (Ayesha)  Of San Francisco and Christie Smith of Greenville, SC, 4 great grandchildren, Brittany Rose Blake, Bailey Rose, Tatum Rose, and Sawyer Smith and 1 great-great granddaughter, McKenna Blake.

She will always be remembered as a loving mother and grandmother.

Visitation will be Monday November 21, 2011 after 12:00 p.m. (Noon) at Gary's Funeral Home Greenville, Ky.
