Charles “Kent” Doss, 76 of Depoy

dossMUHLENBERG COUNTY, KY - Charles “Kent” Doss, 76 of Depoy passed away Wednesday November 30, 2011 at 6:06 p.m. in the Muhlenberg Community Hospital Greenville, KY after a short illness.   Kent was born in Greenville, KY March 27, 1935 the son of the late James Melvin Doss and Anna Ethel Lovell Doss. He retired in 1996 from Supervalu and was a member of First Presbyterian Church Greenville.  He was a 44 years member of Central Masonic Lodge #673, he was a Kentucky Colonel and he loved baseball and basketball.

He is survived by Brother Glendell  (Emogene) Doss of Madisonville, KY; Sister Wanda (Michael) DeArmond of Greenville, KY; Nephew Jimmy (Shannon) DeArmond of Central City, KY; Neices Jamie (Dr. Troy) Crist of Madisonville, KY; Connie (Bucky) Edwards of Central City, KY; Penny Creamer of Lexington, KY; Great-neices  Sommer Crist, Chloe Crist, Allie Dearmond, Callie Dearmond, Brooklyn Utley
Great-nephew Chandler Crist.

Funeral services will be conducted Saturday morning, December 3, 2011 at 12:00 p.m. noon from Gary’s Funeral Home in Greenville, KY by Dr. Tim Davis assisted by Rev. Scott Casebier with burial to follow in Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Greenville, KY.

Masonic services will be conducted Friday evening December 2, 2011 at 7:00 p.m. at Gary’s Funeral Home in Greenville, KY

Friends may call Friday evening December 2, 2011 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Gary’s Funeral Home in Greenville, KY and after 9:00 a.m. Saturday until Funeral Time.  Online condolences to the family can be made at www.garysfuneralhome.net.
