GREENVILLE, KY - Gaynell Loney, 80 of Greenville, KY died Thursday morning December 8, 2011 at 1:20 a.m. in the Belle Meade Nursing Home Greenville, KY after a short illness.  Gaynell was born October 31, 1931 in Muhlenberg County the daughter of Givens Loney and Margaret Roberts Loney.  She was a member of Oak Grove Missionary Baptist Church in Depoy, KY and she was a accountant for General Motors.  Gaynell retired from General Motors in Detroit, Michigan in 1980 after 31 years.  She was preceded in death by her parents, sister Edna Till Loney, Brothers James Darrell Loney and Ralph Hendricks, and Nephew Alan Loney.

She is survived by brothers Charles (Ann) Loney of Greenville, KY and Rondel (Serrener) Loney of Rogersville, AL; Sister-in-law Judy Loney Pendley of Greenville, KY; Nieces Janet (Gary) Heath, Rhonda Bass, Jeanette (Rev. Kerry) Vincent, Leslie Loney; Several great-nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be conducted Sunday, December 11, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. from Gary’s Funeral Home Greenville, KY by Rev. Kerry Vincent with burial to follow in Oak Grove Cemetery in Depoy, KY.

Friends may call Saturday afternoon December 10, 2011 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Gary’s Funeral Home Greenville, KY and after 10:00 a.m. Sunday until funeral time. Online condolences to the family can be made at www.garysfuneralhome.net.
