eagleGREENVILLE, KY - Edward Coleman Jackson, 56 of Greenville, KY formally of Calhoun, GA died Friday, December 9, 2011 at 2:15 a.m. at his home after a lengthy illness.  He was born June 28, 1955 in Greenville, GA the son of Lewis Edward Jackson and Betty Gene Cook Jackson.  Edward was a truck driver for Larry Dixon Construction for many years and he was a member of Cave Spring Missionary Baptist Church in Greenville, KY.  He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother Kenny Jackson.

He is survived by his wife of 20 years, Sheila Elaine Wells Jackson of Greenville, KY; Daughters - Christi Lynn Kennedy of Adairsville, GA & Elizabeth Jean Jackson of Greenville, KY; Son William Edward Jackson of Greenville, KY; 2 grandsons Cody Kennedy and Casey Kennedy; Sister Linda Broome of Resaca, Georgia; Brother Steve Jackson of Resaca, Georgia.

Funeral services will be conducted Monday, December 12, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. from Gary’s Funeral Home in Greenville, KY by Rev. Billy Thompson with burial to follow in Cave Springs Cemetery in Greenville, KY.

Friends may call Sunday evening December 11, 2011 from 5:00 p.m.to 8:00 p.m. at Gary’s Funeral Home in Greenville, KY and after 9:00 a.m. Monday morning.
