flowerALLEGRE, KY - Roberta Henderson, age 89 of Allegre, passed away 7:00 a.m. Tuesday, December 20, 2011 at her residence of natural causes.

Mrs. Roberta was born in Muhlenberg County December 19, 1922 the daughter of the late James Franklin and Ethel Angeline Robinson Strong. She was retired from Elkton Apparel and a member of the Mt. Tabor Baptist Church where she was a member of the choir. Her husband Bennie Reese Henderson passed away in 2002, two daughters also preceded her in death Sylvia Gardner and Sybyl Francies.

She is survived by three daughters Evelyn Williams of Florissant, MO, Patricia Hall and Karen Henderson both of Elkton, KY. 14 Grandchildren, 25 Great Grandchildren and 15 Great Great Grandchildren.

Services will be Friday December 23, 2011 11:00 a.m. at Latham Funeral Home in Elkton, KY with Rev. Jimmy Fuller officiating. Burial will follow in the Mt. Tabor Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday December 22, 2011 from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Latham Funeral Home in Elkton,KY.
