BOWLING GREEN, KY - Steve Browning, 50, of Bowling Green, passed away after a brief illness Friday, October 12, 2012 at his residence.
The Muhlenberg county native was the son of the late Beatrice Browning and Duard Browning of Greenville, who survives. Steve was an accomplished keyboard player, praising and worshipping God as he played for gospel groups including the Challengers and the Gospel Couriers. Steve recently graduated from the Animal Behavior College as a professional Dog Groomer.
Survivors include his wife of 14 years, ChristiAnne Browning and two daughters Andrea Toll and April Jessup (Jeremy); brother Dr. William Browning (Elaine); three grandchildren Ethan, Jordan and Bailee Jessup; an aunt LaVonne Webster; nephews and nieces Brian Massa, Scott Massa, Matthew Browning, Emily Stauss, Erin Stauss, and Alexandria Stauss; and six loving dogs.
He is preceded in death by his first wife; Kathy Browning.
Visitation will be Monday, October 15, 2012 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at J. C. Kirby & Son Lovers Lane Chapel and on Tuesday, October 16, 2012 from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. with the funeral at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be at Cave Springs Missionary Baptist Cemetery in Greenville, KY.
