BOWLING GREEN, KY - Ollie P. Finch, 95, of Rockfield, passed away Saturday, November, 24, 2012 at Hospice of Southern Kentucky, surrounded by her family.
The Cumberland county native was born June 13, 1917, a daughter of the late Finis White and Gertie DuBree White.
Mrs. Finch was preceded in death by her husband Loyd Martin Finch, two sisters; Refer Fuqua and Martha Miller, three brothers, Eual White, Carl White, Harold White and a granddaughter, Teresa Finch. Mrs. Finch retired from Holley Carburetor after 25 years of service and also worked for Union Underwear. She was a member of Cave Mill General Baptist Church and Park City OES #128.
Mrs. Finch is survived by two sons; Richard Finch (Linda) and Jerry Finch (Bertie) of Bowling Green; four grandchildren, William Finch (Sandra), Dean Finch (Regina), Amy Shelton (Clay), and Jennie Mosley (Al); sixteen great grandchildren and 1 foster great grandchild
Funeral Services will be at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, November 28, 2012 at Johnson-Vaughn-Phelps Funeral Home with burial in Bowling Green Gardens. Visitation will be from 12:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, November 27, 2012 at Johnson-Vaughn-Phelps Funeral Home and from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday at the funeral home. Order of Eastern Star service will be at 7:00 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
