BOWLING GREEN, KY - Shirley Ann Key, 71, of Bowling Green passed away Saturday, December 8, 2012 at her residence. The Bowling Green native was born August 9, 1941 a daughter of the late Francis and Clifton Ray Ferguson.
Mrs. Key was preceded in death by her sister, Joyce Johnson.
Mrs. Key was a homemaker and faithfully served in ministry at First Pentecostal Church for 44 years beside her husband.
Mrs. Key is survived by her husband of 54 years, Rev. Ivan Hobert Key; one daughter, Beverly Key of Bowling Green; one son, Brian Key of Bowling Green; one brother, Don Davenport of White House, TN; one grandchild, Brandon M. Key; several nieces and nephews.
Services for Mrs. Key are under the direction of Johnson-Vaughn-Phelps Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, December 11, 2012 at First Pentecostal Church with burial at Fairview Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 1:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. on Monday, December 10, 2012 at First Pentecostal Church. A candle lighting ceremony will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Monday at First Pentecostal Church. The First Pentecostal Church is located at 4200 Diddle Drive, 42101 at the Russellville Road interchange of the William H. Natcher Parkway.
