BOWLING GREEN, KY - John Curtis Childres, 29, of Bowling Green, passed away Wednesday, December 12, 2012 in Nashville, TN.
The Warren county native was the son of Timothy Walter Childres and Nancy Lynn Johnson Childres, who survives of Morgantown, Ky. John was a loving son, brother, husband, and father. He was a graduate of Butler County High School class of ’01 and a graduate of Bowling Green Tech as an Automotive Technician, class of ’03. John Curtis loved to fish, hunt, and made a friend everywhere he went.
He is survived by his wife of 5 years; Katherine Underwood Childres, Bowling Green, two daughters; Harley Mariee Childres, Greenville, Ky, Jolynn Rena Childres, Bowling Green, and a son; Tristan Lee Childres, Bowling Green, brother; Charles Childres, wife Samantha, Morgantown, Ky and sister; Jessica Montgomery, husband Josh, Horse Branch, Ky. Nieces and nephews include; Ryan and Tyler Norvil and Raven Childres, a maternal grandmother; Wanda Johnson, Morgantown, Ky, mother and father in law; Mike and Becky Underwood, Glasgow, Ky and sister in law; Jennifer Norvil, Lebanon, TN and several aunts, uncles, cousins and many loved friends.
Visitation is Friday, December 14 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at J. C. Kirby & Son Lovers Lane Chapel, and Saturday from 12:00 noon to 2:00 p.m. with funeral at 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home with burial at Bowling Green Gardens.
Arrangements have been entrusted to J. C. Kirby & Son Lovers Lane Chapel.
