Zachary Stephen Newby, age 30, of Bowling Green, Ky

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. - Zachary Stephen Newby, age 30, of Bowling Green, Ky., entered into rest Monday, December 24, 2012 at the Medical Center in Bowling Green due to complications from Guillain-Barre syndrome.

A native of Bowling Green, Zach was the son of the late Stephen W. Newby, and Paula Dossey Newby who survives him.

Zach is also survived by his twin sister, Hannah Marie Newby; paternal grandmother, Mary Bernice Newby; niece and light of his life, Cheyenne Kay Newby, all of Bowling Green. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles, cousins, friends, and beloved dog Nina.

Zach was baptized at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Bowling Green. He was a licensed EMT, former student of Western Kentucky University, as well as an avid reader, history buff, and eclectic music lover.

Cremation was chosen and family and friends are welcomed to a celebration of life and memories of Zach on Friday, December 28, 2012 from 5:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. at J. C. Kirby & Son Lovers Lane Chapel.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Bowling Green/Warren County Humane Society at 1925 Old Louisville Road Bowling Green, Ky. 42101.
