BOWLING GREEN, Ky. - Margaret Hale Jackson, 90, of Bowling Green passed away at 12:14 pm, Monday, December 31, 2012 at a Bowling Green Nursing Home.
The Bradenton, Florida native was born on March 24, 1922, the daughter of the late Maxie Hampton Jackson and Ruby Hale Jackson. She was a graduate of Bowling Green High School and attended Western Kentucky University and Bowling Green Business University and retired from Western Kentucky University where she was a secretary in the Business Affairs Office. She was a member of State Street United Methodist Church, The Open Door Circle and the Chautauqua Literary Circle.
Survivors include her sister, Corinne Jackson Meeks and her husband, Charles of Bowling Green; one niece, Cathy Bishop and her husband, Mike; one nephew, Cliff Meeks and his wife, Carol; two great nieces, Andrea Meeks and Susan Beth Meeks and one great nephew, Keith Bishop.
Funeral Services will be at 11:00 a.m. Thursday at Johnson-Vaughn-Phelps Funeral Home with burial in Crescent Hill Cemetery in Scottsville, Kentucky. Visitation will be from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. on Thursday at Johnson-Vaughn-Phelps Funeral Home. Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to State Street United Methodist Church.
