BOWLING GREEN, Ky. - James Kenneth Carter, 83 of Bowling Green died Tuesday, Jan. 8, 2013 at the Hospice House of Bowling Green.
The Warren County native was a son of the late Chester Amos Carter and Golden Nell Clasby Carter. He was an electrician at Holly Performance, hauled milk for the Pet Milk Company, a member of Bethel United Methodist Church and American Legion. He was a Korean War Army veteran.
Survivors include his wife of 60 years, Jonell Carter; three sons, Darrel Carter (Katrina), Rick Carter (Lisa), Brent Carter (Barbara); eight grandchildren, Cassie Faulkner, Jared Carter, Cali Carter Wheeler, Krista Carter, Clay Carter, Logan Carter, Ryan Carter, Braden Carter; four great grandchildren, Will Faulkner, Maggie Faulkner, John Thomas Faulkner, James Dee Carter; a brother, Bobby Gene Carter ( Louise); several nieces and nephews.
Memorial service 11:00 a.m. Saturday at Hardy & Son Funeral Home, Bowling Green Chapel with visitation Friday 5:00-8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
