BOWLING GREEN, Ky. - Kathleen (Kathy) Forsee passed to a better place on Monday January 28, 2013 after a courageous fight against cancer.
She is survived by her husband of 40 years, John Ray Forsee, daughter and son-in-law Kari Rae and Michael Carr, son John William Roy Forsee, as well as, three treasured grandchildren Cadence Kathleen Carr, Savannah Skye Carr, and Captain Michael Reed Carr; all of Bowling Green. Kathy also leaves an Aunt Margarette Elsie Booth of Dallas, Texas and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews, and great nieces and nephews from many parts of the country.
She was a member of the Rich Pond Church of Christ and was honored to be a KY Colonel. Kathy was born March 9, 1950 Kathleen Morris in Louisville, KY and is pre-deceased by her parents William Isaac Morris and Dorothy Edna Kimmey Morris, as well as a brother William Jerry Morris and a grand-daughter MacKenzie Rae Carr.
Visitation will be 3:00 pm to 8:00 pm Wednesday and after 10:00 am Thursday at J.C. Kirby and Son Broadway Chapel. The funeral services begin on Thursday January 31st at 11:30 am with graveside services immediately following at Fairview Cemetery.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of J.C. Kirby and Son Broadway Chapel in Bowling Green.
