BOWLING GREEN, Ky. - Rosalee Wilson, 91, of Lucas, KY entered into rest Monday, March 25, 2013 at NHC Healthcare in Glasgow, KY.
She was born in Mounds, Illinois and lived out most of her life in Granite City, Illinois before moving to Bowling Green, KY in 1991. She was the daughter of the late Christopher Columbus and Lucy Cline Burnett. She was preceded in death by her husband of 54 years: Forest Wilson and brother: Cordas Burnett.
Rosalee is survived by her daughter: Sheri Woodward (Ethen) of Lucas, KY; son: Forest Lee Wilson; daughter-in-law: Vicki Wilson of North Pole, Aalaska; 6 grandchildren: Tina Marie Glosick Hutchison, Christi Sipes, Crystal Bennett, John Joseph Roy Glosick, Kris Allen Wilson, and Kory James Wilson; 13 great grandchildren: Wilson, Jameson, and Elisha Hutchison, Greer, and Whitt Glosick, Clint and Bryan Sipes, Mindy Woodford, Ethen Woodward, Calista Davis, Devyn, Aidan, and Haley Wilson; 3 great great grandchildren: Jeremy Hutchison, Bradley Evans, and Madi Jo Sipes.
She owned ABC License Service in Granite City, Illinois. She loved to travel, was very family oriented, and loved her grandchildren. She was independent, diligent, dependable, hardworking and had a servants heart. She was a very devoted wife and mother.
Funeral services will be conducted on Thursday, March 28, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. at J. C. Kirby & Son Lovers Lane Chapel with burial to follow in Fairview Cemetery. Visitation will begin Wednesday from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and Thursday from Noon until 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
