BOWLING GREEN, Ky. - Robert Norman Adams IV, 66, of Bowling Green passed away Monday, April 1, 2013 at The Medical Center at 8:07 a.m.
Bob was born in Louisville, KY on December 10, 1946.
He was preceded in death by his parents Robert N. Adams III and Annabell Burnett Adams.
Bob was a regional supervisor for the EPA Division of Water for the Commonwealth of KY. He was a member of Christ Episcopal Church, where he was a member of both the choir and handbell choir and Brotherhood of St. Andrews. Graduate of Louisville Butler High School and Western KY University. Bob was the chain master for Bowling Green High School and Western KY Football for over 35 years. He was a member of the Aeolian Lodge #51 I.O.O.F.
Survivors include his wife of 37 years Karen Durbin Adams, two daughters Anita “Annie” A. Britt (Jonathan) of Scottsville and Bethaney Kay Adams (Fiancée Brett Curry) of Louisville, one sister Judy A. Adams of Bowling Green. Several nieces, nephews and cousins also survive.
Memorial Services will be Saturday April 6, 2013 11:00 A.M. at Christ Episcopal Church 1215 State St. Bowling Green, KY 42101. Visitation will be Friday 4:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at J. C. Kirby and Son Lovers Lane Chapel, 820 Lovers Lane, Bowling Green, KY 42103 and Saturday 9:00 A.M. until time of services at Christ Episcopal Church.
