Steven Dale Yoakem, 41 of Bowling Green, KY

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. - Steven Dale Yoakem, 41 of Bowling Green, KY passed away Friday, April 26, 2013 at his residence. The Edmonson county native was a son of the late Leo Edward and Lucille Gilliam Hicks Yoakem and is preceded in death by two brothers, Charles Alvin & Leo Thomas Yoakem. He was a landscape architect and of the Baptist faith.

Survivors include his wife Shannon Lewis Yoakem; four sons, Jonathan Dale Yoakem, Zackery Lee Yoakem, Timothy Shane Yoakem, Steven Edward Yoakem; one daughter, Destiny Jannessa Hope Yoakem; two stepsons, Patrick Lee Cowles and Brandon Michael Cowles; six brothers, Michael Edward Yoakem, Richard Joe Yoakem, Daniel Lee Yoakem, Ronnie Allen Yoakem, John Andrew Yoakem, Roy Neal Yoakem; two sisters, Margaret "Punkin" Tallent and Judy Ann Woods; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral service 2:00 p.m. Sunday at Hady & Son Funeral Home, Bowling Green Chapel with burial in Hawks Cemetery. Visitation 4:00 -8:00 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
