BOWLING GREEN, Ky. - Jack Edwin Weber, age 79 of Bowling Green, KY peacefully passed at Vanderbilt Medical Center on May 4, 2013 with his loving family by his side.
Jack was born on January 8, 1934 in Auburn, IN to John and Mary Ellen Weber. In 1957 he married the love of his life Ruth Annette Abbey. They spent most of their lives in Galesburg, MI where they opened their home and hearts to over 300 foster children for 25 years. During that time they adopted and raised 5 children of their own. He also worked for Country Mark in Battle Creek, MI for over 35 years until retiring in 1998 to his home in Bowling Green, KY.
Jack was loving, hardworking and cherished his wife and family. They meant everything to him. His children and grandchildren were his pride and joy.
Jack is preceded in death by his parents and wife of 53 years Ruth Abbey Weber.
Carrying on his love are his son, Mike Weber (Stacy) of Kalamazoo, MI; 4 daughters, Marjorie Weber of Lansing, MI, Tamara Wayne (David) of Galesburg, MI, Victoria Weber of Flint, MI, and Stacy Weber-Kinnarney (Bruce) of Bowling Green, KY; 12 grandchildren, Dustin, Ashley, Kristen, Joshua, Jacob, Cody, Madison, Noah, Isis, Makayla, Markeysa, and Alexis; 2 great grandchildren, Jared and Jayden; also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, May 8, 2013 at 2:00 P.M. at J. C. Kirby & Son Lovers Lane Chapel with burial to follow in Bowling Green Gardens. Visitation will begin Wednesday from 11:00 A.M. until the funeral hour at 2:00 P.M.
