Elaine Reece, 79, of Bowling Green, Ky

1doveBOWLING GREEN, Ky. - Elaine Reece, 79, of Bowling Green, Ky passed away at 5:56 p.m. Wednesday, June 26, 2013 at The Medical Center at Bowling Green.

The Warren county native was born February 15, 1934 a daughter of the late Oliver Grimes and Laura Wilson Grimes. She was preceded in death by two brothers; James Grimes, Calvin Grimes, and two sisters, Evona Tunks and Enola Mahoney.

Mrs. Reece was a homemaker, former employee of Holley Carburetor, and was a member of Eastside Church of Christ.

Funeral Services will be at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, June 29, 2013 at Johnson-Vaughn-Phelps Funeral Home with burial in Fairview Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Friday, June 28, 2013 at Johnson-Vaughn-Phelps Funeral Home and from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Saturday at the funeral home.

Mrs. Reece is survived by her husband Ed Reece, two sons; Randy Reece (Michelle) of Bowling Green, Troy Reece (Cheryl) of Bowling Green, a daughter; Barbara Johnson of Bowling Green, six grandchildren; Rachael Shavelieva, Sarah Reece, Hannah Reece, Dane Stivers, Morgan Fields, Chance Fields, and one great grandchild, Lily Garcia
