opd arrestlog2 300Owensboro, KY (7/2/13) – The Owensboro Police Department has released the following inmate booking information for Monday, July 1:

Christopher S. French, of the 500 block of J.R. Miller Boulevard, was arrested on Monday for allegedly stalking and threatening the mother of his children with death. French is alleged to have threatened the female previously, stating that he was “going to take her to the woods” on June 20, and threatening to kill her on June 21. French has previously been convicted for violations of Kentucky E.P.O/D.V.O against the mother of his children, which is a Class A misdemeanor. French is currently housed in the Daviess County Detention Center on a $50,000 bond.

Richard Harrison, of the 500 block of Crittenden St, was arrested at 1:04 p.m. on Monday for an alleged violation of a KY EPO/DVO. According to information from the Owensboro Police Department, Harrison was ordered not to be within 500 feet of a property at 1829 Triplett Street. When officers with Owensboro Police Department arrived, they found Harrison walking across the street to the residence. Harrison allegedly stated that he was aware that he was not allowed in the vicinity, and was also aware of the Emergency Protection Order. Harrison is currently housed in the Daviess County Detention Center on a $5,000 bond.

Authorities said Lawrence Dowell, of the 1200 block of Allen Street, was observed by loss prevention officers at Kroger on Starlite Drive allegedly concealing merchandise in his clothing and attempting to leave the premises without paying. Police claimed Dowell attempted to flee when loss prevention stopped him, and that he persisted in efforts to resist apprehension. Dowell has a previous history of robbery charges. Currently, Dowell is charged with Second Degree Robbery and Second Degree Criminal Trespassing. He is housed in the Daviess County Detention Center on a $10,000 bond.
