BOWLING GREEN, Ky. - Josephine Katherine Divincenzo, 100, of Bowling Green, Ky entered into rest July 13, 2013.
A native of Chicago, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Mary Giaimo Sortino. She was preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, Joseph Divincenzo; daughter Lorayne Marie Sarno; and four brothers, Franco, Thomas, Frank and Mario Sortino.
Josephine is survived by her two daughters, Arlene Roberts and Donna Moore (James), both of Bowling Green; four grandchildren, Laura Ruell (Fred) of Merced, Calif, Gina Moore of Bowling Green, Michelle Salcido (Anthony) of Huntington Beach, Calif., and Joseph Moore (Melinda) of Nixa, Mo.; four great-grandchildren, Kenneth Ruell, Lauren Moosbauer, Alyssa and Alexander Moore; one great-great-grandchild, Kyland Moosbauer; and one niece and four nephews.
Josephine was a founding member of Holy Spirit Catholic Church. Funeral services will be at noon Wednesday at Holy Spirit Catholic Church, with burial to follow in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday at J.C. Kirby & Son Lovers Lane Chapel, with a prayer service at 7 p.m. Tuesday.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Holy Angels (a facility offering loving, living and learning for the differently able) at P.O. Box 710, Belmont, NC 28012, or to the Holy Spirit Catholic Church Building Fund.
