Della Jo Nell Dalton, 74, of Bowling Green, KY

obit5BOWLING GREEN, Ky. - Della Jo Nell Dalton, 74, of Bowling Green, KY passed away on August 15, 2013 after a lengthy illness in her home surrounded by her loved ones.
 
Jo was formerly employed by General Motors of Cincinnati, Ohio and General Motors of Bowling Green, KY. She also owned and operated a daycare for many years where she was known as “Mama Jo”. Jo was a member of Southside Church of Christ.
 
She was preceded in death by her parents: Gilbert and Marie Wilson; a brother: J. W. Wilson; and a sister: Anetta Christine Wilson, all of Bowling Green.
 
She is survived by her three children: a son, Dennis Dalton of Paducah; two daughters: Kay Anderson and husband William, and Lynne Swetmon and husband David all of Bowling Green. Also surviving are nine grandchildren: Jessica (Robbie) East of Smiths Grove, Ashley Anderson, and Emily Anderson, April Anderson Hayes and husband Cody, Kacey Anderson Storie and husband Aaron, David Swetmon, Jr., Michelle Swetmon, and Shelby Lockwood Swetmon all of Bowling Green, and Brandon Dalton of Scottsville, KY. She is also survived by three great grandchildren: Zakery East, Jacob East of Smiths Grove and Makelia Dalton of Scottsville, KY; and one sister: Gladis Hankins of Ashland City, Tennessee along with several nieces and nephews.
 
Funeral services will be conducted on Monday, August 19, 2013 at 2 p.m. at J. C. Kirby & Son Lovers Lane Chapel with burial to follow in Bowling Green Gardens. Visitation will be Sunday from 3 until 9 p.m. and Monday from 9 a.m. until the funeral hour at 2 p.m.
 
Arrangements entrusted to J. C. Kirby & Son Lovers Lane Chapel.
