betty white jobcorpMUHLENBERG COUNTY, Ky. (8/28/13) – The Muhlenberg Job Corps Center has named Greenville native, Betty White as Employee of the Month.
 
During the month of July 2013, White processed over 1,500 items through the warehouse. According to Job Corps Spokesperson Karen Robinson, White is a key part of the accounts payable process which scored 100% on the recent audit.
 
White makes sure supplies are delivered in a timely and efficient manner. She continues to go above and beyond on all her job duties to assist the students with clothing when needed and ensures all shipment orders are correct so there is no potential loss of money to the Center.
 
The greatest thing Betty brings to work is her smile and caring way. Because of the kind person she is, she makes everyone she comes in contact with have a day that is always a little bit better. A lot goes on behind the scenes at Muhlenberg Job Corps and management considers her a vital component.
 
White began her employment at the Muhlenberg Job Corps on March 13, 1989 and has served the center for twenty four years. The Muhlenberg Job Corps and contracting officer, Horizons Youth Services, considers Betty White a major asset to the Center operations.
 
Muhlenberg Job Corps is a free career training educational facility for low-income individuals ages 17-24. Individuals can train and earn certifications in Certified Nursing Assistant/Home Health Aide, Insurance Claims Processor, Pharmacy Technology, Clinical Medical Assistant, Heavy Equipment Operator, Construction Equipment Mechanics, Class B – Commercial Driver’s License and Welding.
