BOWLING GREEN, Ky. - Rosemary 'Rosie' Westray, 78, of Woodburn, Ky passed away Sunday, September 1, 2013 at her residence surrounded by her loving family and friends.
She was born in Indianapolis, Indiana on June 26, 1935 to the late Charles and Julia Lollar Fossee. She is also preceded in death by her two brothers, Charles Fossee Jr. and Richard Hutton. She worked at Fruit of the Loom as a seamstress and at Colonial Manor in Housekeeping and the Laundry. Rosie Loved taking care of everyone. She took care of her husband of 53 years Kenneth Earl Westray lovingly until his death on December 21, 2012. Rosie loved spending time with her family and cherished her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was a member of the Woodburn Church of Christ.
She is survived by her loving son: Kenny Westray and wife Leisa of Bowling Green; two daughters: Dorothy Bass and husband Bruce of Macon, Georgia and Donna Adkins and husband Paul of Goldsboro, North Carolina; brother: Robert Hutton and wife Martha of Illinois; sisters: Frances Abrevaya and husband Morie of Illinois, Marie Sanders of Indiana, and Loia Ridenour of Illinois; seven grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; special friend: Thelma McElroy.

Visitation will be from 3 until 8 p.m. Tuesday and after 9 a.m. Wednesday at J.C. Kirby and Son Broadway Chapel. Funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at the J.C. Kirby and Son Broadway Chapel with burial to follow in Bowling Green Gardens.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of the J.C. Kirby and Son Broadway Chapel.
