BOWLING GREEN, Ky. - Ann Lewis Burkart, 49 passed away Wednesday, Oct. 30, 2013 at her residence.
She was a member of Chalybeate United Baptist Church and graduated from Edmonson County High School. She was a homemaker and worked 10 years at Greenview Regional Hospital as a clerk.
The Edmonson County native was a daughter of the late Clarence W. Lewis and is preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Pleas Thomas and Anna Laura Priddy and paternal grandparents, Clarence Westley and Mary Elizabeth Smock Lewis.
Survivors include her husband, Jeremiah James Burkart; her mother, Vasta Marie Priddy Lewis; her son, Dewayne Westley Basham; her daughter, Laura Elizabeth 'Beth' Basham (Justin Wade Reynolds); three grandchildren, Westley Ray Basham, Adalyn Brooke Reynolds, Aaden Colt Reynolds; her sister, Rhonda Gail Lewis Hunt (Brian Dwayne Hunt); nieces, Mackynzie Parker Hunt & Ashley Burkart; her nephews, David Burkart, Jr; her father & mother-in-law, James B & Linda Burkart and her mother-in-law, Nancie Kodweis; several aunts, uncles & cousins.
Funeral service 11:00 a.m. Saturday at Chalybeate United Baptist Church with burial in Kinser Cemetery.
Visitation 3:00-8:00 p.m. Friday at Hardy & Son Funeral Home, Bowling Green Chapel and 9:00-11:00 Saturday at the church.
