BOWLING GREEN, Ky. - Rosia Lee Madison, 86 of Bowling Green, KY passed away Wednesday, November 20, 2013 at Greenview Hospital. The Warren County native was born June 18, 1927, a daughter of the late Roger and Myrtle Wilson Cowles. She is preceded in death by her husband, William Madison and a daughter, Rachel Corum. Mrs. Madison had worked at Dibrell Tobacco Company and was a member Boiling Springs Church of Christ. She was a loving mother and grandmother and had many friends. She will be missed by all. She loved WKU Basketball, Wheel of Fortune and her pet, Blackie.
She is survived by; five children, Wilma Vincent and her husband, Gillis, Linda Davis and her husband, Kenneth, Brenda Madison, Billy Madison and Elizabeth Farmer and her husband, Fred of Akron, OH; one brother, Bill Cowles; six grandchildren, Keith Davis and his wife, Tammy, Kevin Davis and his wife, Desiree, Andy Corum and his wife, Jennifer of Jeffersonville, IN, Kate Farmer of San Francisco, CA and Kara Farmer of Columbus, OH and Clifton Davis, Jr. and his wife, Penny; best friend, Lorraine Duery of Bowling Green. A special thanks to Dr. Bhatt for his care over 25 years.
Funeral Services will be at 1:00 pm Saturday, November 23, 2013 at Johnson-Vaughn-Phelps Funeral Home with burial at Boiling Springs Church of Christ Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm Friday, November 22, 2013 and from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm Saturday at Johnson-Vaughn-Phelps Funeral Home.
