Barbara J. (Lovan) Hill Hardymon, 74 of Providence

 

PROVIDENCE, KY- Barbara J. (Lovan) Hill Hardymon, 74 of Providence, passed away on Friday, Feb. 24 in Madisonville.

She was born on August 28, 1937 at White Lick in Webster County. She attended school at Wheatcroft and graduated from Clay High School.

She and Charles Hill were married on July 8, 1955. He passed away in 1967 and Barbara later married Russell Hardymon who also preceded her in death.

Barbara retired from Speedqueen in Madisonville and enjoyed being a mother and grandmother. She was a member of Diamond Baptist Church.

She is survived by two sons Larry and wife Carol Hill of Providence and Alan and wife Lori Hill of Nortonville. A brother Paul Lovan of Providence, five grandchildren David Hill, Jennifer Sandefur, Travis Hill, Adam Hill and Andrew Hill. Great grandchildren Makaila,Makynze, Ava, Natalee, Carson, Brennen, Jayleigh and Amelia.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, Feb. 28 at 1 PM at Jones & Erdman in Providence with Pastor Ralph Alexander officiating. Interment will be in White Oak Cemetery. Visitation is on Monday from 5 to 8 PM and on Tuesday from 9 AM to service time at the funeral home.
