Roger Dale Wilson, 61, of Providence, KY

PROVIDENCE, KY - Roger Dale Wilson, 61, of Providence, KY, passed away Monday, April 9, 2012 at Regional Medical Center in Madisonville, KY from an apparent heart attack.

A native of Hopkinsville, he was born on April 24, 1950. His parents are William Roy Wilson, Marengo, Ill. and Jacqueline Clark Newman, Crofton, KY. He was a coal miner at Warrior Coal Mine in Madisonville, KY.

Survivors in addition to his parents include his wife, Aneita Faye Braden Wilson, Providence, KY. Three daughters; Tracy Wilson Johnson, Angel Wilson Adler, and Shannon Wilson Henderson, all of Evansville, IN. One sister, Ava Wilson Pearson, Nashville, TN and Eight Grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by three children, William Lee Wilson, Stephanie Dawn Wilson, and Roger Dale Wilson, Jr. and by a sister, Teresa Lynn Wilson Frazier.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, April 14, 2012 at the Crofton Pentecostal Church with Rev. Marvin Upton officiating. Burial will follow in Ridgetop Cemetery. Visitation will from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Friday at Hughart & Beard Funeral Home in Crofton, KY.

Contributions may take the form of donations to the American Heart Association.
