obit danielWEBSTER COUNTY, KY - Laura Leigh (Melton) Daniel, 47 of Sebree, KY passed away Sunday April 29, 2012 in Sebree.

She was born November 21,1964 in Henderson to Ralph Glen and Shirley Mae (Scott) Melton.

She was a member of Sebree General Baptist Church, a member of the National Association of Mental Illness, worked at Colonial Terrace in Sebree for many years as well as Methodist Hospital in Henderson. She was also a singer and played cornet with the Evansville Imperial Guard.

Laura was preceded in death by her grandparents Emerson and Anna C. Melton, and Roy and Ruby Scott, also an aunt Betty Wright.

She is survived by her husband if 28 years Kerry Daniel of Sebree; Her daughter Felicia Daniel of Sebree; Her parents Glen and Shirley (Scott) Melton of Sebree; One sister Kelly (Steve) Edmondson of Henderson, KY; Her father and mother-in-law Jimmie and Frances Daniel of Sebree; Aunts: Margaret Wiggins and Jane Roland both of Sebree; Uncles: Don Melton of Owensboro, Steve Melton of Lexington, KY; Frank Springfield, and Jimmy Springfield both of Sebree; Great Aunt: Ruby Winebager of Frankfort, KY; Nieces and nephews: Kyle Daniel, Chris Daniel, Bart Boles, Kristina Messamore, Tara Boles, and Craig Daniel; And several cousins.

Services will be 2:00 PM Wednesday May 2, 2012 at Tomblinson Funeral Home Sebree Chapel with Bro. Nate Harper, Robert Forker, and Justin Cardwell officiating.

Burial will be in Petersburg Cemetery in Petersburg, KY.

Visitation will be 4-8 PM Tuesday May 1 and 11 AM-2PM Wednesday May 2 at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be Kyle Daniel, Chris Daniel, Rick Daniel, Jon Roland, Paul Melton, Bart Boles. Honorary pallbearers will be the Sebree Fire and Rescue Members.
