Bobby Joe Winstead, 80, of Poole

WEBSTER COUNTY, KY - Bobby Joe Winstead, 80, of Poole passed away Saturday June 23, 2012 at the Lucy Smith King Care Center in Henderson.

He was born in March 31, 1932 in Sebree, Ky to Lloyd and Lucille (Mitchell) Winstead.

He worked in construction, was a member of Local 561 Laborers in Evansville, and was also a US Army Korean War Veteran.

He was preceded in death by his father and a brother Billy Winstead.

He is survived by his wife of 56 years Betty Jean (Pruitt) Winstead of Poole, KY; His mother Lucille Winstead of Sebree, KY; 1 daughter: Gloria Jean and her husband Ty Bisping of Poole, KY; 1 brother: Gary and his wife Patricia Winstead of Dixon, KY; 1 Grandchild: Susan Jones of Henderson, KY; 2 Great-grandchildren: William Jones and Aydin Claybrooke; Nieces and nephews.

Services will be 11:00 AM Wednesday June 27, 2012 at Tomblinson Funeral Home Sebree Chapel in Sebree, KY with Rev. Hollis Marshall officiating. Burial will be in Shady Grove Cemetery in Poole, KY.

Visitation will be 4-8 PM Tuesday June 26, 2012 and 9AM-until service time at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be Jacques Garrard, Larry Tabor, Nathan Pruitt, Glenn Pruitt, Jimmy Chandler, and Michael Chandler. Honorary Pallbearer will be William Jones.

Graveside military rites will be performed by American Legion Worsham Post 40

Memorial Contributions may be made to St. Anthony’s Hospice.
