Jessika Leigh-Anne Belcher 14, of Slaughters, KY

CALHOUN, KY - Jessika Leigh-Anne Belcher, 14, of Slaughters, KY passed away Tuesday, June 26, 2012 at the Kosair Children’s Hospital in Louisville.

Jessika Leigh-Anne Belcher was born July 10, 1997 in Madisonville, KY, she was a member of the Calhoun Christian Church, and would have been a Sophomore at McLean County High School this fall. Jessika enjoyed fishing with her father, shopping with her mother, and was a friendly and outgoing person that will be missed by both her family and friends.

Survivors include her father, Matthew Belcher of Jewell City; her mother, Christie Hogan and husband, Larry of Henderson; five sisters, Amanda Belcher of Crown Pointe, Indiana, Tawny Marie Clinton of Jacksonville, Florida, Sierra Darae Phelps, Mattison Belcher, and Connor Larrynn Hogan all of Henderson; grandparents, Dorothy Marie Knapp of Henderson, Daniel Ray Phelps of Princeton, and Joyce Crabtree of Marshall, Illinois; and a great grandmother, June Rushing of Princeton.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M. Sunday at Muster Funeral Homes, Calhoun Chapel with the Rev. Mike Rich officiating. Burial will be in the Calhoun Cemetery in McLean County. Friends may visit with Jessika’s Family from 4:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. Saturday and from 10:30 A.M. until time of services Sunday at Musters in Calhoun.

Jessika’s Family requests that expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to the Jessika Leigh-Anne Belcher, Memorial Fund; C/O Muster Funeral Homes; P.O. Box 160; Calhoun, KY 42327. Memorial contribution envelopes will be available at Musters in Calhoun.
