Mary Katherine Hinton, age 73, of Madisonville formerly of Sebree

HOPKINS COUNTY, KY - Mary Katheryn (Sandefur) Hinton of Madisonville formerly of Sebree, KY passed away on Monday, July 2, 2012 at the Methodist Hospital in Henderson.

She was born November 2, 1938 in Webster Co., KY to the late Rex Myers and Lorene Shelton Myers. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Erwin L. Hinton and one son, John Michael Sandefur.

Mrs. Hinton was a member of the Hanson Baptist Church in Hanson.

She was survived by two daughters, Tommie Ann (Freddie) Martin of Slaughters and Linda Potter of Henderson, KY; one son Monty (Lisa) Sandefur of Henderson; one brother, John Myers of Madisonville; four grandchildren and six great grandchildren.

Graveside services will be 10:30 A.M. Thursday, July 5, 2012 at Hanson Cemetery in Hanson with Bro. Bill Qualls officiating. Burial will follow in Hanson Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 9:00 A.M. to 10:00 A.M. Thursday at Barnett-Strother Funeral Home.

Memorial contributions may be made to the St. Anthony’s Hospice in Henderson; envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
