Trudy (O’Nan) McConnell, 49 of Sebree, Ky

HENDERSON, KY - Trudy (O’Nan) McConnell, 49 of Sebree, Ky passed away Tuesday July 3, 2012 at Deaconess Gateway Hospital in Evansville, IN.

She was born December 17, 1962 in Henderson, KY to the late Pete and Dorothy Earl (Gish) O’Nan.

She was a self employed Artist, writer and had formerly worked at Bell’s Drug Store. She was photographer for the Henderson Community College Newspaper, volunteered at Colonial Terrace Nursing Home and was a KY Colonel. She was also a member of Poole Missionary Baptist Church.

In addition to her Parents she was preceded in death by a brother; Finis O’Nan, sister-in-law; Dorene McConnell and a nephew Billy Joe O’Nan.

She is survived by her husband Tommy McConnell 3 children; Derek McConnell and wife Sarah of Henderson, KY, Chris McConnell of Evansville, IN, Dori McConnell of Sebree, KY; Father; Frank O’Nan of Henderson, KY; Sisters; Alice Burton of Sebree, KY, Martha O’Nan of Sebree, KY, Julie Lemming of Henderson, KY; Brothers; Petie O’Nan and wife Peggy of Sebree, KY, Danny O’Nan and wife Linda of Sebree, KY, John O’Nan of Henderson, KY; Mother in law; Mildren Scott of Slaughters, KY; Sister in law; Patricia McConnell of Slaughters, KY; Brothers in law; Gerald McConnell of Onton, KY, Darrel McConnell of Slaughters, KY, Stevie McConnell of Robards, KY, Doyle McConnell of Onton, KY, Billy McConnell of Dixon, KY; Also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Services will be held Friday July 6, 2012 at 1:00 PM at Tomblinson Funeral Home Sebree Chapel. Bro. David Mabrey will officiate. Burial will be in Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Henderson, KY

Visitation will be Thursday July 5, 2012 from 4:00 until 8:00 and Friday 9:00 AM until service time at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be Derek McConnell, Chris McConnell, Danny O’Nan, Josh Mabrey, Mike Burton and Mickey Mitchell.
